To help narrow your selection look at the specifications sheet and requirements for the boathouse lift. Different lift series offer different lifting speeds and options that can be applied. One huge expense often overlooked is your electrical. Different lifts have different electrical requirements, depending on the speed and number of motors used. Make sure your wiring is sufficient before installing a lift. If your wiring is not adequate, this could result in costly upgrades to the wiring on your dock. Boat House 4-Piling Lifts - These lifts accommodate larger capacities and have faster lift speeds. They can be mounted on boat house brackets, or on cross beams in the roof of your boat house. The top beams are mounted bow to stern instead of port to starboard.
Standard Boat House lift - These lifts are designed to accommodate boats up to 10,000 lbs. The top beams are mounted port to starboard utilizing the band boards and pilings in your boat house. The 4K and 7K lifts use less power because they only use one motor.
V-series Boat Lift - This lift was designed specifically for competition Ski & Wakeboard boats. This cradle is designed to adapt to a precision hull and component layout. With the fully adjustable cradle and out drive cut out you can accommodate any component that become obstacles with standard cradles. This is a multi cross member design that also gives the boat the maximum support that competition ski boats require. The top beams are mounted port to starboard in your boat house.
